Networking Training

The ENCOR (Enterprise Core) module provides in-depth training in modern enterprise network design and architecture. Students learn to model a hierarchical network using core, distribution, and access layers, and master Layer 2 switching through VLANs, trunking, Ether Channel, and redundancy mechanisms like Spanning Tree Protocol (STP). The course covers switching operations and technologies such as TCAM, CAM, process switching, fast switching, and Cisco Express Forwarding. Routing protocols are extensively explored—including EIGRP, OSPFv2/v3, and EBGP—with hands-on implementation of single and dual-homed networks, route filtering, and summarization

Network redundancy is effectively implemented using protocols like HSRP and VRRP, while comprehensive NAT configuration introduces both static and dynamic translation strategies. Learners build a solid foundation in server and switch virtualization, with real-world applications of overlay technologies such as GRE, LISP, VPNs, and VRF.

Monitoring and analytics are sharpened using tools such as SNMP, NTP, NetFlow, Embedded Event Manager (EEM), and Cisco IOS IP SLAs. Secure device access is emphasized with CLI management, RBAC, ACLs, SSH, AAA, and industry-standard hardening techniques.

Enterprise security is addressed through deep dives into VPN technologies, system logging, firewall configurations, endpoint protection, and content filtering.

Advanced networking topics include SD-WAN architecture across orchestration, control, management .

Network programmability is demystified through NETCONF, RESTCONF, Automation and Foundation Python Scripting
